Jordan and his wife, Sonya, founded Bluewater Mission in late 2008. It was their fourth unplanned church plant. What they've done accidentally, they help others to do intentionally, all over the world.
From the outset, Bluewater has been characterized by the powerful ministry of hospitality through its Community Houses – homes in which regular church members live alongside recovering survivors of sex trafficking, abuse, homelessness and addiction. The church is well-known for its easy-access healing services, practical prophetic ministry, and creative arts.
Jordan ministers widely through teaching, and supernatural ministries, and has led training conferences for every major Christian denomination and numerous parachurch and missions organizations in North America, Europe, Latin America, East Asia , South Asia and Oceania.
Jordan spent his childhood moving all over the U.S., hiding from the police, living under assumed names with his family. As a young man, he was an academic. He holds advanced degrees in political theory from Stanford University and the University of Chicago, and was a National Security Fellow at the School of Government at Harvard.
He’s an avid sailor.
